Cancellation and Refund Policy
Our commitment to a professional, respectful and inclusive learning environment
Purpose
At Alpha X Learning Solutions LLC, we are committed to providing fair, transparent, and flexible cancellation and refund arrangements for participants and corporate clients. This policy applies to public training, corporate training, live online training, self-paced learning, bootcamps, webinars, conferences, and executive education unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.
Definitions
Public Training – Participant Cancellation
Written cancellation requests must be sent to training@alphaxlearning.com .
Refund Schedule
Approved refunds will normally be processed using the original payment method where practical.
Participant Substitutions
A replacement participant may attend at no additional charge if Alpha X receives written notice before the course begins and the substitute meets any prerequisites.
Course Transfers
One transfer to another scheduled course of equal value may be requested, subject to availability, at least 7 calendar days before the course start date.
No-Show Policy
Participants who fail to attend without prior written notice are normally not eligible for a refund or transfer.
Online Learning
Live online courses follow the standard cancellation policy. Self-paced learning may be refunded within 14 days provided a substantial portion has not been accessed or completed.
Corporate & Private Training
Corporate cancellations are governed by the signed proposal or service agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed:
Cancellation charges compensate for trainer allocation, preparation, scheduling, and venue commitments. Non-refundable third-party costs already incurred may also apply.
Cancellation by Alpha X
If Alpha X cancels or postpones a course because of insufficient enrolment, instructor unavailability, venue issues, technical failures, severe weather, government restrictions, or events beyond reasonable control, participants may:
- Transfer to another course.
- Receive a full refund.
- Receive a training credit.
Personal travel or accommodation expenses are not covered unless required by law.
Conferences, Bootcamps & Webinars
Standard public course cancellation terms apply unless different terms are published for a specific event.
Force Majeure
Neither Alpha X nor the participant is liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond reasonable control. Where practical, training will be rescheduled.
Refund Request Procedure
Submit requests to training@alphaxlearning.com including:
- Participant name
- Course title
- Invoice or registration reference
- Reason for cancellation
Taxes & Payment Fees
Refunds apply only to amounts paid to Alpha X. Bank charges, currency conversion costs, payment processing fees, or applicable taxes may not be refundable where permitted by law.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Policy Updates
Alpha X may update this policy from time to time. The version published on the website at the time of registration will normally apply.
